Here is the story of Holt Swiftcurent.
There were two ships. The Nightridder and the Bloodwave. Having just sucsessfuly plundered from a otter holt and gaining several oar slaves, they were celibrating. One oar slave, a female otter, had been only slightly hurt. She took three others with her when she ascaped. She ascaped by killing the serenoties on the Nightridder, the ship she was on. Her name was tula. The other three where Kayla, Tate, Tirry. They got to land easly, for all four were strong, young otters. When They got to land they wandered.
Years past. Kayla and Tula both had one child. Tula's was female.Her name was Tullgrew. Kayla had a son. His name was Keyla. One day when Keyla and Tullgrew were in the woods hunting, they were captured by Badrang the soat tyrant. They were made slaves. When they met Martin, son of Luke the Warrior, they new he was a fighter.
So follows the story line of Martin The Warrior.
After Martin left Keyla and Tullgrew traveled north and west, away from it all and to try and find they're family's. They never did. When they came to the western sea, they stoped they're travels. There had been a resent sea vermin rade leaving seaverly young otters orphen in a holt that they came opon.
Keyla could rember his last name, Swiftcurent. Tullgrew had no clue to her's. Soon however, it did not matter, for she took Keyla's.
And so forth comes the story's end. Keyla and Tullgrew had childern and they had childern, and so forth. The others that they had saved grew up and had childern. The holt was forever called Holt Swiftcurent, after it's founders, Keyla and Tullgrew.
Many do not know this, but Tullgrew and Keyla are my ansestors.
My mother's name was Tula and my father's Skipper, no one could rember his real name for he became skipper very young after his father died.
